About Dr. Christopher Kunze - Dr. Christopher Kunze is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. He received his DVM from Kansas State University then went on to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Virginia Tech University. He was accepted as a resident in radiology at Texas A&M University and passed the American College of Veterinary Radiology’s oral and written board certification examinations. He has been practicing in Central Texas since 2004.
Services offered - Dr. Kunze’s practice includes full service diagnostic imaging to local veterinarians. Central Texas veterinarians can call for mobile ultrasonography, radiographic (x-ray) consults and teleradiology. Dr. Kunze is also experienced in ultrasound-guided aspiration/biopsy procedures. Working in conjunction with the doctors at Capitol Area Veterinary Specialists/Texas Veterinary Oncology, Dr. Kunze is able to provide advanced imaging evaluations utilizing computed tomography (CT/CAT scan) and is licensed to perform radioiodine therapy for feline hyperthyroidism.

To ensure the best possible care, all examinations are done in conjunction with a local veterinarian. Appointments for Dr. Kunze to perform imaging procedures are scheduled through the patient’s primary care veterinarian.
